Sousuke First Anime Appearance: Full Metal Panic! Organization: Mithril (Pacific) Team / Rank: SRT Sergeant Specializations: AS pilot specialist, guerilla warfare Biography: Although only a teenager, Sousuke has an extensive background in the military and on the battlefield as a child soldier. Sousuke grew up as an orphan, his closest family would be Kalinin, who trained and fought alongside him in the past. Sousuke has had training in the KGB, fought as a guerilla in Helmajistan and most recently joined the Mithril organization. Sousuke has thorough combat and survival knowledge and is a specialist Arm Slave pilot. But off the battlefield, Sousuke has difficulty socializing and adjusting to civilian life. His current long term assignment is to protect Kaname Chidori, a Whispered living in Japan. His teammates in this mission are Sergeant Kurz Weber and Sergeant Major Melissa Mao. Sousuke is often overprotective of Chidori, much to her annoyance. He eventually develops feelings for her, but his lack of experience in this matter makes it difficult for him to confess directly to Chidori. |

Chidori First Anime Appearance: Full Metal Panic! Organization: Civilian Team / Rank: Civilian Specializations: Whispered Biography: Kaname Chidori is a popular and athletic 16-year old teenager who attends Jindai High School. She is the class rep, as well as the school’s vice president and is on many of the sports teams. Chidori often acts tough and lives by herself in an apartment. She has a somewhat short temper, and is known to yell or throw a violent outburst when she is pushed to her limit. Lately, Sousuke has managed to monopolize the majority of Chidori’s wrath. Because Kaname Chidori has Whispered abilities, she has been the target of various terror and crime organizations. Sousuke, Mao and Kurz were assigned from Mithril to guard her safety. Initially, Chidori thought of Sousuke as an annoyance since he was constantly making a mess of her life. But after seeing how Sousuke’s willingness to risk his life to protect her, she develops feelings for him. Yet despite her tough exterior, Chidori becomes very timid with these matters and has difficulty conveying them to Sousuke. |

Teletha "Tessa"
Testarossa First Anime Appearance: Full Metal Panic! Organization: Mithril (Pacific) Team / Rank: Captain Specializations: Whispered Biography: Teletha Testarossa, also called “Tessa” by her friends, is the young silver haired girl who is the captain of the Mithril submarine Tuatha de Danaan. She, like Kaname Chidori, is also a Whispered, but Tessa has better control over her abilities than Chidori. Tessa is the youngest officer in Mithril to have the title of ‘Captain’. She used her Whispered abilities to design the Tuatha de Danaan. Due to her intimacy with the workings of the vessel Mithril promoted her as its captain. Tessa is intelligent and charming, she is highly respected by her crew. The men, especially, treat her like their princess. Tessa is somewhat clumsy and has poor coordination and athletic skills. She is, however, very strong willed and doesn’t back down from challenges. She has fallen in love with Sousuke, but is more honest with her emotions than Chidori. Tessa and Chidori have developed a rivalry, but are still very good friends |
