Metal Panic DVD 1: Mission 1Episode 01: The Guy I Kinda Like is a Sergeant Episode 02: I Want to Protect You Episode 03: Lingerie Panic Episode 04: Kidnap Buy DVD 1 or Buy the Whole DVD Series  Episode 01: The Guy I Kinda Like is a Sergeant Sousuke Sagara, an operative of the anti-terrorist organization Mithril, is sent as an undercover body guard to protect a single high school girl in Japan. Her name is Kaname Chidori and she's a dormant Whispered. But Sousuke was raised in the military and has no clue how to adjust to normal school life. Even worse, on his first day, Sousuke gets on Chidori's bad side. 
 Episode 02: I Want to Protect You Sousuke takes his mission too seriously and is set on protecting Chidori from anything he perceives to be a threat, causing a lot of mayhem at school. When Sousuke starts following her outside of school, Chidori really gets annoyed and tries to lose the persistent Sousuke. 
 Episode 03: Lingerie Panic While monitoring Chidori's apartment, Sousuke and his teammates spot a panty thief climbing onto her balcony. Sousuke subdues the culprit, but it turns out to be one of his classmates, Kazama Shinji, the military otaku. The two hit it off talking about Arm Slave specs while still sitting on the balcony. When Chidori discovers them after her shower, she (and her bat) isn't too happy. 
 The students are going on a school trip. Chidori is still angry at Sousuke for the panty incident and won't talk to him on the plane. Things go very wrong when the plane is hijacked and taken to a North Korean base. Military men single out Chidori and take her away, they threaten everyone else and place a bomb on the plane. Sousuke needs to rescue Chidori and also save the other students, but is alone and has no back-up. An enemy from his past also shows up.
